Here’s a pic from the recent Lit Fest at Buxton where Corinne Fenton, Mark Wilson, Diana Lawrenson and I presented. Mark painted the book van.

My great niece wrote me a letter because her teacher wanted to send her parents a signed copy of Kookaburra. That letter led to a school visit yesterday to the delightful Harcourt Valley Primary School. Thanks for your letter Ada. Thanks for gifting Kookaburra to your parents Mrs H so they could read it to their visiting kookas. I love my job and the connections it makes. #kookaburra @tannyaharricksillustration @walkerbooksaus #naturestorybooks #childrensbooks #picturebooks #australia #australian animals

What a great van! What a great event. Mark Wilson illustrated one of my books, called Pitch Black, but I've never met him. Is he a Victorian? Janeen
It's gorgeous, Janeen, covered with all local animals.
Yes, Mark lives in Melbourne, down in the south east.
