Dandelion
after the yellow bright
petals wither
powder fluff seeds
wait for wind
set seeds adrift adrift adrift
float where the wind wills
softly land
begin again

About a book. Yesterday morning, I presented to a local quilter group, only slightly anxious about showing my replica version of The Girl Gide quilt. The GG quilt and its gifting is the subject of The Flower Garden: A Changi Secret. I learnt as much as I shared, a reminder that every quilt carries stories.
In the late afternoon, I shared The Anzac Billy with Joey scouts in front of their local cenotaph. They were also full of stories of Anzacs and remembering. And energy. They had that in spades! #history #anzacs #children
