In the weather
He stood on the corner
shivered, cool
in the growing city shadows.
He relented,
covered his Tshirt
with a tailored jacket,
pulled up the sleeves
beyond his elbows.

I saw this on s callistemon bush. Up close I thought it was a wasp home or nest. But apparently its a praying mantis egg sac and the wasp is looking for dinner. Amazing. #wander #wonder #curious

Two big days of school visits in Gippsland started with peasouper mornings followed by bluesky days. I was overwhelmed by the preparations for and the welcomes to each of three campuses.
