It’s amazing just how noisy these pretty birds can be.
And even more amazing how difficult they are to see, even set against the greys of the empty trees.
It looked to me like the gum flowers had fallen from the dandelion…

I love flowering gums and they are all a-bloom around here at the moment. It's the leaves too, such great shapes. I'd love one in the garden but I think they would be too big. So I may have to content myself with stopping-the-car, crossing-the-road, up-close photos. #gum #eucalypt #trees #flowers #leaves #wonder
