Yesterday began with two sessions in a fabulous school library, complete with fabulous library staff (and special wow! to the art teacher)Together with their teachers they have crafted a rich, immersive world for their students. It was so lovely to see art and literary offering that referenced so many of picture books I've co-made with so many great illustrators. And watch out, there are many developing creators being nurtured. *particular mention of the newly invented 'kitty basketball fish! The day ended with a visit to the Little Bookroom for an event with primary school teachers where Jess and I talked about the books we make together and separately. Thanks Michael and Jenny for our welcome. You could even say my day was 'bookended' ;)
